Privacy Policy

Before the serious legal jargon bit, I will give you my brief and simple personal version...

I am sole artist who has a website to show my work to the interested and like minded and have a link to my work available to buy on my Etsy shop. I do not have the know how or the inclination to do anything untoward with your personal information.

My site is run by Wix (very good) and they use cookies to make the site run better and quicker. I use Google Analytics to see which pages visitors are looking at, how long they're looking and what country they are based in. That's it, no personal info, nada. 

My Etsy shop (which there's a link to) has a extensive privacy policy on it too, if you wish to read that. In a nutshell, it is a secure site which if you buy my work from (many thanks), I only get your contact details, no payment info is given to me other than how it was paid by, i.e credit card and Etsy lets me know when the payment has cleared.

If you contact me via my contact form, I get your email address which is securely stored on my password protected iCloud mail thingy.

I have also a newsletter set up and send by Mailchimp (very reputable company) I will use your email to send you one around 4 times a year. This something you will have signed up for on the mailing list form but there will always be the option to unsubscribe and your email will be deleted from my records. No hard feelings.

The type of information collected.

I receive, collect and store any information you enter on my website or provide me in any other way. In addition, I collect the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet; e-mail address; computer and connection information. I use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page. I also collect personally identifiable information (including name, email, communications); comments, feedback, product reviews, recommendations, and personal profile.

How the information is collect.

When you contact me or sign up to a mailing list on my website, as part of the process, I collect personal information you give me such as your name, address and email address. Your personal information will be used for the specific reasons stated above only.

Why the information is collected.

I collect such Non-personal and Personal Information for the following purposes:

  1. To provide and operate the Services;

  2. To provide my Users with ongoing customer assistance and technical support;

  3. To be able to contact my Visitors and Users with general or personalised service-related notices and promotional messages;

  4. To create aggregated statistical data and other aggregated and/or inferred Non-personal Information, which I may use to provide and improve my services; 

  5. To comply with any applicable laws and regulations.

How I store, use, share and disclose your personal information.

My website is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides me with the online platform that allows us to show my artwork and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall. 

 

How I will contact you.

I may contact you to send updates about my work via a newsletter you have signed up to or if you have used to contact form; or as otherwise necessary to contact you to enforce our User Agreement, applicable national laws, and any agreement I may have with you. For these purposes I may contact you via email.

Use of cookies and other tracking tools.

My website is hosted by Wix.com and they use cookies for mainly security reasons. The cookies they use are:-
